About the therapists
Kelly Nieberding, M.S. CCC-SLP
I’m Kelly, the owner and Speech Language Pathologist at Smart Play Therapy. I graduated from Miami University in 2011 with a Master’s of Science Degree in Speech and Language Pathology and have 13 years of experience in evaluating and treating children with a large variety of speech and language disorders.
I have additional training in:
Play-focused and functional speech and language therapy techniques
Neurodiversity-affirming therapy approaches
Natural Language Acquisition framework and gestalt language processing

When I am not working, I love spending time with my husband and our three young children. I enjoy cooking, a good cup of coffee with friends, and going on excursions with my family.
Bethany Graham, M.A. CCC-SLP
I’m Bethany! I received my Master of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology in 2016 from Ball State University. I have 1 year of experience in the school system, 6 years of experience working in the medical system including inpatient rehab, outpatient adult, home health, and outpatient pediatrics.
I have additional training in:
Child-led play-based speech and language therapy
Introduction and implementation of Augmentative and Alternative communication devices (AAC)
Neurodiversity-affirming therapy approaches
Family-centered approaches and involvement in the evaluation and treatment process.
In my free time, you will find me with my 4 kids, husband, and sweet old dog. We enjoy attending community events, engaging in social happenings with our friends and families, and tackling home improvement projects around our home!
